A little about Brantley-Rankin Farms...
Since the late 1980’s we have enjoyed great show ring success on state and national levels. At the same time we have worked hard to develop a cowherd that produces pounds at market and quality replacement females.

Brantley-Rankin Farms began operation in 1944 with Doyle and Leva Joy Brantley. Daughter, Joan, added her own herd of registered Herefords in the 1960’s. In 1973 she married Eddie Rankin and more emphasis was put on the registered Herefords. Their children, Dennis and Cheryl continued to add to the family herd. Dennis concentrated on adding a black herd, while Cheryl continued the improvement of the Herefords. Today’s cow herd consists of 200 head with half of the herd being black Angus/Simmental/Maine crosses and the other half registered and commercial Herefords.
